Following a top prize win at the 2014 Loren L. Zachary competition and a series of critically lauded performances as Lt. Pinkerton in Madama Butterfly at San Francisco Opera, Brian Jagde launches the 2014/15 season with a return to San Francisco, to sing Cavaradossi in Puccini’s Tosca (October 23 & 26 and November 1, 4 & 8).

Mr. Jagde will make his house debut at Covent Garden this season, as Pinkerton in Madama Butterfly, with a spectacular cast including Kristine Opolais as Cio-Cio-San and Gabriele Vivani as Sharpless. Nicola Luisotti, Music Director of the San Francisco Opera, leads the Orchestra of the Royal Opera House for these performances (March 202328 & 31 and April 4 & 9). Jagde will also debut at Portland Opera, as Don José in Bizet’s Carmen (February 6, 8, 10, 12 & 14).

Brian Jagde sings the role of Narraboth in Strauss’ Salome at Opera San Antonio (January 8 & 11) and Santa Fe Opera (July 18, 22 & 31 and August 6, 11, 18 & 27). Mr. Jagde will present a recital on February 18 at the Mondavi Center in Davis, CA.
