This month, Brian Jagde makes his role debut as Narraboth, the ill-fated Captain of the Guard, in Strauss’ scandalous and spectacular work Salome with Opera San Antonio. These will be the first fully staged opera presentations in the H-E-B Performance Hall at the Tobin Center, San Antonio’s newest performing arts venue.

Jagde is joined by a world-class cast, including Patricia Racette in her first staged performance as Salome, Alan Held as Jochanaan, Allan Glassman as Herod, and Michelle DeYoung as Herodias, with and the San Antonio Symphony. Performances take place January 8 & 11; tickets and more information are available at the following link.

He reprises the role later this season at Santa Fe Opera.
