Video broadcast of ‘Cavalleria rusticana’ at Dutch National Opera on takt1

On December 15, takt1 will share a video broadcast of Leoncavallo and Mascagni’s famous double bill Pagliacci and Cavalleria rusticana at the Dutch National Opera beginning at 8 pm CET (2 pm ET). Mr. Jagde made his critically acclaimed staged role debut as Turiddu in Robert Carsen’s ingenious production at the beginning of this season with a fantastic group of colleagues, including Anita Rachvelishvili as Santuzza, Roman Burdenko as Alfio, Rihab Chaieb as Lola, and Elena Zilio as Mamma Lucia. Lorenzo Viotti led the Nederlands Philharmonisch Orkest and Koor van De Nationale Opera.
