Brian Jagde, Jennifer Rowley & Nicole Car Headline Opera Arias’ Takeover Festival
Opera Arias is organizing a takeover festival showcasing a number of opera stars in their living rooms. The festival will be held every Saturday and will begin with a recital by Brian Jagde on April 4. He will be followed by Spanish tenor and rising star Pablo Garcia-Lopez on April 11. On the third week of April Jennifer Rowley will take over on April 18. The final recital will be performed by opera power couple Étienne Dupuis and Nicole Car on April 25.
Opera Arias is the latest instagram account to create an event following the Teatro Real’s stay at home Festival and Joyce DiDonato and Piotr Beczala singing excerpts from Werther. A number of singers have also posted videos singing and some have even created living room recitals.
