Bayerische Staatsoper debut in ‘Carmen’

Brian Jagde makes his highly anticipated debut at the acclaimed Bayerische Staatsoper next season in a signature role – Don José in Bizet’s Carmen. He is joined by a spectacular international cast, including Anita Rachvelishvili in the title role, with Vitaliy Bilyy as Escamillo and Genia Kühmeier as Micaëla. Karel Mark Chichon leads the Bayerisches Staatsorchester for these performances, which take place January 7, 10 & 13, 2017 at the Nationaltheater.
