Next season, Brian Jagde debuts at Madrid’s Teatro Real in a concert presentation of Verdi’s Macbeth, part of the Real’s celebratory 200th Anniversary Season. Jagde sings the role of Macduff alongside Plácido Domingo in the title role. Jagde previously received second prize and the Brigit Nilsson Wagner/Strauss Prize at Domingo’s 2012 Operalia Competition in Beijing. Mr. Jagde also reunites with soprano Anna Pirozzi (Lady Macbeth) in this production; the duo was previously seen in 2014 at Valencia’s Palau de les Arts Reina Sofia in Verdi’s Nabucco.

Ildebrando D´Arcangelo sings Banquo, with Vincenzo Costanzo as Malcolm. Performances take place July 11, 14 & 17, 2017 in the Main Hall.
