Brian Jagde and special guest soprano Joyce El-Khoury are featured in concert at the new Anne E. Pitzer Center on campus at UC Davis this March 11, with a programme highlighting romantic works by Puccini, Verdi, Massenet, and more. The duo has previously worked together in critically acclaimed performances of Puccini’s La bohème under the direction of the late Maestro Lorin Maazel (Castleton Festival & Münchner Philharmoniker) and Dvořák’s Rusalka (Opera San Antonio). Pianist Robert Mollicone accompanies the concert, a highlight of the Mondavi Center’s presenting season in Davis.
