Brian Jagde rings in the New Year making his debut at the historic Teatro La Fenice, as a featured soloist in the theater’s annual Capodanno concerts. Featuring soprano Pretty Yende, and the Orchestra and Chorus of La Fenice, conducted by Maestro Fabio Luisi, the events take place on December 30 & 31 and January 1. Mr. Jagde sings “Nessun dorma” (Puccini’s Turandot) and will sing “Vesti la giubba” (Leoncavallo’s Pagliacci) for the first time in public, in addition to the “Libiamo” from Verdi’s La traviata.
