Puccini’s ‘Manon Lescaut’ in Vienna

This season Brian Jagde revisits the role of Renato Des Grieux in Puccini’s Manon Lescaut at the Wiener Staatsoper, with performances taking place February 1, 4, 7, 10 & 13. Asmik Grigorian sings the title role, with Boris Pinkhasovich as Lescaut and Artyom Wasnetsov sings Geronte de Ravoir. Francesco Ivan Ciampa leads the Orchestra of the Wiener Staatsoper for these performances, which also feature a live video broadcast on February 7 via Staatsoper Live and a radio broadcast via ORF on February 12.
