Teatro alla Scala – ‘La forza del destino’

For a third production this calendar year, Brian Jagde returns to Milan’s Teatro alla Scala to sing Don Alvaro in a new Leo Muscato-directed staging of Giuseppe Verdi’s La forza del destino, which opens the theater’s 24/25 season. Jagde has previously starred in the role to great acclaim in Paris, New York, London, and most recently in Barcelona.

The cast at La Scala includes Anna Netrebko, Ludovic Tézier, Vasilisa Berzhanskaya, and Alexander Vinogradov, with Maestro Riccardo Chailly conducting. The opening night on December 7 will also receive a live international online, cinema, and radio broadcast – additional details, including a complete list of media outlets and a list of performance dates, are available at teatroallascala.org.
